Hi Bertie - I had to delete my previous comment because I got you all mixed up with another lurcher friend of mine called William - I thought his hair had got lighter!! Silly me. I blame it on being in the process of moving house myself. It seems to have sucked my brain out. You look extremely cute and cuddly in your photo and so I am sending you a little kiss. I now have a puppy called Luigi who is a 1 yr old Italian Spinone. He is VERY naughty unlike you who are always good all the time !! xxx
Hi Bertie, I have popped over here from William the Lurcher's blog. You are gorgeous! We have a lurcher cross called Rosie Mae - we adopted her from a rescue centre when she was 18 months old (having been on 'death row' in a dog pound in Wales) and she is now 17+ years old :) Rosie Mae has a favourite part of the stairs - it is the 'wedge' step as the stairs go round a corner. Problem is, the pesky foster cat seems to think it's hers! I hope you don't have to share your step with a pesky cat! xx
Hi Bertie, when we were walking past a nearby cafe, we spied a furry nose peeping under the barrier. We knew straight away that he was a lurcher and when my Mum bent down to cuddle him, she got talking to his owners. They said they were on holiday and their boy was a Hancocks lurcher. He looked just like me, but taller, so Mum Googled them when we got home and we remembered that was part of your breeding too. Love from Roobarb xx

ReplyDeleteBertie you look as though you are stopping anyone walking up those stairs! Are you keeping guard?
